No badge count after Marshmallow update

Dear Sony,

Thank you for the latest Marshmallow update. I do notice there is no badge count anymore (unread message count icon). Is this going to be fixed? Is there a fix already? Is there a work around?

With the latest update, what's app has changed its api and now the badge is visible for app on homescreen in marshmallow 6.0.1

The code needs to be implemented by app developers. If your are a developer you can find some information on how to implement the code on our developer website which I linked to earlier.

I have just bought AN XP and the problem still exists. Is there likely to be a solution?

Also, I cannot seem to introduce/activate the notifications bar to partly solve the above problem. Can anyone help, please?
