Hello dear members, My signal sometimes losts and it can last for hours and sometimes last for days! i've been trying to restart the phone and re-insert the simcard but nothing, I switch the simcard to another phone and it works just fine on the back up phone, I bought my SE Z LTE in Singapore anyway, and I'm in Indonesia, can it be possible the cause of the problem?? what should I do?  if I need to flash it, is there any specific firmware should I use for indonesia region? thank you, I'm so suffering because of this problem..

Best Regards, Thanks

solved! i lost signal for days! i downgraded the os, no luck. re upgraded, no luck. restart the phone, reinsert sim card, switching network mode no luck. it is obvious the hardware issue! but since i have lost my warranty, i found a way to get the signal back. the radio antenna is located at the lower part of the phone! the flat part under the bottom of the screen. i simply light hitting that part to my palm, with the screen side down, but i dont hit the screen to my palm, just the lower part of the phone, hit it lightly, boom i get my signal back! but if it doesnt work, just hit it a bit harder, plus hit the top area of the phone, the upper part above the screen, i do it everytime i lose signal, and it always work for me, i bet by hitting it, it trigges something in the radio antenna, so glad to have my XZ's signal back after 2 day of losing signal because of hardware fault.

Sorry to hear that you're having network issues.

Was the other phone you tested your SIM in also an LTE phone?
What happens if you set your Z to GSM/WCDMA under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Network mode.

thanks for replying, no, the back up phone was Iphone 4s, and I don't like to use it anymore since I bought my Z, but the signal problem really dissapoints me. I've tried to switch the netowork mode, GSM only, WCDMA only and everything on the list, still nothing, I downloaded an app called "signal meter" it does detect GSM signal, but the bars still empty, I suspect it because my Z is using Singapore firmware? can it be possible? thank you

I also have the same problem. This is really annoying. Been using a year and it was really great. Now keep  me off due to the signal problem. I think one of the cause might be the firmware which Sony has upgraded to. Please solve it ASAP. I really disappointed with this issue. I think before upgrade to latest firmware, the phone works fine!
