So ,I have this problem now .Today I received a mesage from Sony telling to plug my phone to the computer in order to check if the new update was available for my phone .
I plugged my phone ,but completely forgot to check the charge status .Then I got a call while the phone was plugged on the computer and PCCompanion was dowloading the update .
It told me the update failed .
So I unplugged my phone ,then plugged it again and restarted the whole update process .It went through and told me the update failed once again .I unplugged ,then put my phone off .And plugged it back to the computer to try the update again .
A third attempt which didn't go through .
So after these three attempts ,I unplugged it to the computer and put it to charge on the wall then tried turning it on .
Here's my problem : The LED is red ,the SONY logo appears on my screen ,and then the phone just goes off .
It does this repeatedly whle the phone is on charge .I'm looking at it right now ,it's plugged on the wall charge ( not the dock ) and it keeps showing the red LED ,then the SONY logo ,and goes off .
What should I do ?

Hi rocky i have a seam problem whits my xperia z its writing me "the softwear ........" plzz if you repair your phone sad me how i can to do plzz
To perform a system repair - This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
