My screen on my z got water damage, can I access my data?

My screen got a little water damage and now certain bits of it I can't get to work. So I now can't put my pin in to access my phone, which also means I can't access it on my computer. I am also right in the doo doo with this as there's some evidence on this phone that could potentially prove someone's innocence!

Does anyone know a way to access my phone? Please tell me someone can help

Hi @Sammiejr1988, so sorry to hear that.

When you write that certain parts don't work, do you mean that they're black or don't reach to touch? If you can still see the display, then you could try connecting a USB mouse to the device using an OTG adapter. When you connect the mouse using the OTG adapter a cursor will appear on the display much like it would on a computer, which you in turn can use to unlock the device and access the data. OTG adapters should be available in most electronic stores at an affordable price (at least where I am from, it may vary on a market to market basis).
