My deception with the Z5: A list of very Irritating problems.

I have been a Sony User for several years, and I have never been more disapointed by a company that used to be great.

first of all:
The devices are terrible. I am currently on the Xperia Z5 and It has a number of problems ranging from Camera to almost everything. Everytime freezing whenever the capture button is hit or the on screen button is touched so that a picture can be snapped.The phone just freezes in  camera mode. To make the phone usable again, I have to hit the power button to lock the phone. Only then I can use the phone again. And please do not tell me to go to safe mode and try because I have tried. Not Solved.

Another problem is the screen. It's like it has something in the middle of the screen that I cannot go through from the top tthe bottom of the screen. If I try to drag something like an icon, I cannot drag it pass the middle of the screen. Same thing hapens when I try to remove an app shortcut from the home screen by dragging it up to the remove bar. It doesn't work once that top bar is reached. This is messed up, REALLY MESSED UP. Again, SAFE MODE does NOT fix this

Third problem is OTG support. NONE OF THE METHODS described in other threads works. MAnually trying the Dectect USB thing does not work at all. says the same thing; NO USB DETECTED.. and that's NO MATTER WHAT I TRY. Of all the Sony Z5 manufactured, I had to get the faulty one. COME ON...

CAMERA in LOW LIGHT???? GIVE ME A BREAK.

FACTORY RESET, SOFTWARE REPAIR,  all of them are USELESS as they do not fix anything. I just ask myself WHY THE FREAK DID I BUY THIS PHONE?

I always recommended Sony to everyone, with all this, IT's making it hard for me to always vouch for sony.
NOT only the device is terrible, the SUPPORT IS WORSE. All they do is "SAFE MODE, REPAIR, PC COMPANION..." NO ACTUAL SOLUTION....

But WHO AM I KIDDING.


This will not go any further than this forum. I DARE YOU, SUPPORT TEAM INDIVIDUALS TO SHOW THIS TO THE HIGH RANKED AT SONY, I am a faithfull Customer, I DESERVE The best of what my money can get and right now, I feel llike I have been robbed by Sony Mobile and I AM SURE I AIN'T THE ONLY ONE. This phone doesn't even have a year, yet it is unusable. I have used an Xperia Z C6606, That's the only Z series flagship that was great. The Z series kept getting worse over the years and I regret ever upgrading.. so DEAR SUPPORT TEAM, I DARE YOU. WE deserve better

Based on the problems you are experiencing, haven't  you tried sending your device at your local service center? Local support

as this is a user based forum there is little that we can do to help, the solutions given here are what other xperia users have contributed and that has worked for other users.

so send your device for repairs, and if you still have warranty , discuss it with your local support team,

also it pays to read product reviews before considering buying the actual product.
