Marshmallow and RAM

Hello, when my Z3 was in Lollipop and KitKat, free RAM was about 1.2GB~1GB and after being in Marshmallow, free Ram is around 800~700 MB.

Is that normal? I even have less installed apps. Does it have to do with the OS consuming more memory or is it because it has better RAM management? It worries me because it's a 400 MB difference in average.

Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't worry, you could factory reset the phone > do NOT restore anything, don't even enter the Gmail account > check the free RAM, also Marshmallow it's a lot heavier than lollipop but it seems to handle RAM more efficient

Thanks for your reply, @uliwooly

I hope in the future I won't be missing that amount of RAM.

Cheers.
