Lost start up sound of Xperia z3 compact

I buy my z3compact last Feb 2015.and after almost a year problem happens.i did bring it to Sony service center here in Manila,they said it's just a software update but still problem still there.when I bring it back to service center they said battery problem need change,so they change the battery again problem still there now service center said it's the board, I need to pay more than 50 percent of the original price when I buy it,now it's working but start up sound is not working!I'm so disappointed with Sony Xperia I always use Sony as my my mobile phones ever since I first use mobile phones but now I think I'm not going to buy Sony phones anymore

What do you mean by the start up sound? Are you referring to the sound when you restart the phone? If so, do you restart the phone often just to hear the sound? Do elaborate

If you've updated to Marshmallow, the boot sound is no longer part of the firmware

Uliwooly it's because they change the board of my unit that's why I'm wondering why I don't hear the boot sounds anymore

Mm has no boot sound, only animation
