I installed the Android 6 update on my Z5 Compact yesterday, and since that time mobile data is no longer working.
There is no mobile data icon showing in the top-bar, and chrome is showing I am disconnected ("ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED").
Any ideas on what else I can try to get my phone connected to mobile data again?

yesterday I got a new Z5 compact and use my old SIM-card from my Z3 compact for the new device.
I connected it to my WLAN and made an Upgrade to Android 6. Did not try the mobile internet before this upgrade.
But Today I disconnected the device from my WLAN and no mobile connection is working...
Following steps I allready tried:
1. Download Internet settings again - download and installation is shown as completed, but no mobile connection is working (reboot done)
2. Tried to send the SMS for internet settings manual from the provider-side (o2) - I got a SMS with the error message, that my request could not be fullfiled...
3. factory reset the device with step 1 and 2 again ... no connection
normal calls works fine, also internet connection over WLAN... the SIM-card and the mobile internet-connection works fine with my old Z3 compact - I tried it just 30 minutes ago
Could you help me please? Would be sad, if I have to send the device back... I like the Z5.

I got it.
After reseting the mobile phone, I did not try the phone-Intern link to download the internet-settings and downloaded the settings via sms (started from the official side of my mobile provider).
Worked fine. No idea, what goes wrong by downloading this settings with the phone-intern link...

Similar issue here.
After updating my z3 tablet compact lte, mobile data is simply missing. Device does not ask for PIN upon reboot, and more - Internet settings isn't in the menu. I downloaded an app and tried toggling mobile data off and on, no response.
