How to transfer contacts and photos from Android phone to computer

Do you know how to transfer contacts and photos from Android phone to computer? I need to backup these important data to computer. Please give me some good advice. Thank you!

Just select internal storage or SD card then look for the file and email it

Well i have tried that Uliwooly , i have tried to send contacts from sd card to google email but i keep on getting problems.. the file is not supported and i should convert the contacts to another type of file, which of course i can not do. Also when i have synched my phone information to google mail , when it comes to opening the contacts , i tried all sorts and then end up opening some page of contacts on Microsoft word, which of course my contacts are not there.

Have you tried with MyPhoneExplorer?

Hallelujia,,, I can not beleive it. I loaded MyPhoneExplorer and hey presto in a few minutes everything was stored straight to my PC .... simples. It really was that simple. I normally copy anything i want to my sd card, and then drag and drop once i connect my phone to my laptop.
If you don't do it this way, then you'll need to use the sony program that you'll need to install on your pc/laptop.
