help! want to set own message notification sound!

I just cannot see how I can set a sound of my own as a message notification ! Im running QKSMS app ( As Sonys one doesnt allow large enough font!) but I can see no way to set my own sounds!

Anyone any ideas? Or can you recomend another sms app that can do so ( If its the apps fault)

This phone is such a pain to use compared to a Samsung!

@missmouse3 why did you buy a Sony then? Anyway one of the beautiful thing of xperias phones is the fact that their os and experience is pretty vanilla. If you want to customize sounds you can do so by converting custom ringtones in the ogg format. You can do it by downloading apps from the play store that will convert them for you. Some apps are totally ad free! Once you will convert it you will be able to set it as ringtone.

bought the phone cos the spec looked amazing! I thought ( wrongly!) that being Android it would work very similar way to Samsung!

Ive managed to get the message tone of my choice now anyway thanks ( Actually Samsungs whistle! LOL)
