Facebook Syncing issue with Calendar and Contacts

I have a Z3 Compact running Android 6.0.1. I have synced my Facebook Account on the device but for some reason, neither the Calendar Events and nor the Contact Pictures are showing as with Facebook.

How can I fix this issue?

Hey @rjoshicool,

I checked and there's no built-in way to synchronize the Facebook calendar in your Xperia Z3 Compact. Just as you say, Facebook recently removed the possibility within their app to synchronize contacts and as far as I know they never offered a way to synchronize calendar events. We previously had a service called Xperia with Facebook, which was able to synchronize the calendar - are you referring to that? It's however not available on your model.

Facebook has an article regarding exporting the calendar to for example Google, which you then can synchronize in to your device. Have a look at the article if you would like to try that:

Okay, I checked that post. It says that Contact Syncing has been removed by Facebook, so the photos don't show up any more there. But is the Calendar Events' sync functionality also gone?

I guess yes, it must have been through Xperia with Facebook, which was there on my Xpeira Z which I owned earlier.

Thanks for responding back.
