Don't forget to contact Sony directly with your feedback

Another thing I noticed today is the time it takes for your phone to sleep on the lock screen, it takes 30sec which is a long time, most phones if you wake them on the lock screen they only take a few seconds to sleep again.

I used to use this with Pandora and other music players as I do not use Walkman. It worked before Lollipop now it doesn't. Test that please.

I had the same problem with my Z3 plus after update to lollipop and then marshmallow, I could not remember exactly steps which I did but it's now working fine. May try follows:

Uninstalled 3rd party music app, uninstalled sony music app UPDATE back to 9.1.5.A.0.4, turn off all sound effects of headphone, speaker, turn off clearAudio+, DSEE HX, Dynamic normaliser etc in Audio settings, then restart phone.

Open sony music app and try a song with phone speaker first and go to audio settings test effects by changing some equalizer mode, if it's okey then test with your headphone.

Good luck.

Works fine in standard Music and Google Music applications, but not in others like Vk, all browsers (Inc Chrome), other players.
Problem starts from 5.0 update.
In 4.0 everything was great!
I bought expensive smartphone and headphones to listen music, but now it's useless and nobody knows why. Support answered that it is applications problems and recommend me to contact their support. 😰
Tried to do full reset - nothing changes.
Am I alone with that problem??

I'll try, thanks, but I don't think that it is good solution for all Z3 users. Most of them won't even read this message.
Sony support must take responsibility of this. I'll contact them by phone again and i recommend to do it to all of you, who interested, who bought Sony to enjoy music - not for only calls and Internet.
I'm tired to wait, while every Sams user or other enjoys all updates and everything works fine for them.

Actually it's in the Settings - Audio Settings - Sound Enhancement in the Music app.

I managed to make it work.Uninstalled updates for the Music app and it's fine.Guess the problem is in the Marshmallow update.
