Equalizer problem after lollipop update

Hi. I just noticed that equalizer is only working with walkman app. It worked just fine in kitkat.

Why after update KitKat to Lollipop I can't operate sound quality settings? When I change equalizer or other settings nothing happens.

How can I fix it? or how can I make downgrade android 5 to 4.4?

1. It's up to the app developer to make this changes so the equalizer settings are supported

2. you have two options

a. contact your local Xperia Care

b. use flashtool

I found best solution: "Bass Booster" on Play Store.
I am listen "TuneIn" radio with "Bass Booster" and it's helps me great.

I also tried it, but realized that the Bass Booster equalizer worse sony

I tried that too but it just created very loud static noises 😕

Dear 'sony' after upgrading my xperia z2 to lollipop through pc companion my audio effect is not working on other music players..it is only working on Walkman..and if I use other equalizer app it gets crash..plz tell me the solution..my audio setting is not working globally..

Just updated my Z2 tablet to find I can no longer use the sound enhancements, before the system settings applied the effects globally. Now it seems to be limited to Walkman and any other app that has a EQ option.

Very disappointed, I not bother updating my Z3 now!!

Sony has fixed it with the 2 latest walkman updates, one from whats new and one from play store. I was initially having this annoying issue..but after that 2 updates..it came back to normal awesome Sony music experience.. Thanx Sony..

By the way,, I'm on Xperia Z1. US version. Lollipop.
