Hey guys, hope you can help me with my question. Can I charge my Sony xperia z2 if the battery is still 40%? Is it bad in its battery life and health?

yes, it is alright. you should not let your battery go all the way down to 0%, most devices will indicate low battery at15%.

Hey guys, is it safe or okay if I will not fully charged my sony xperia z2? Like for example, if my phone reached 20% battery life, I will plug it. And when it is already 80% I will unplug the charger. Is it safe? Or is it bad for my sony xperia z2's health? Please help

It's safe, you can charge it at any moment, once it reaches 100% it will stop charging
