Cant connect z5premium with bluetooth to toothbrush

When i want to connect my phone xperia z5 premium with a toothbrush (oral b genius 9000 black edition). To connect a bleutooth signal from the phone to the toothbrush,  that part is working. But to accept this bleuthoot device the signal from toothbrush must recived back to the phone.. This part doesnt work..  I have read diverent messages and already have contacted oral b about this bluethoot connect problem. They say its also dipends on androit version... My phone has androit 7.0 (while i heard that 7.1.2 already is released,  but i have not recived jet,  a friend of mine already have the update installed).. According to preverence my phone already has the newest androit version.. While to me it doesnt seem that.. Android 7.0  with safety Patch from androit march 1st 2017,  xperia z5 premium ,  model number e6533,  builtnr 32.3.a.2.33... So whats the problem? Will my phone get android 7.1.2? ( And ill see and hope if that solves the bluetooth promblem with my toothbrush) Already waiting couple of months..   Or does some one else here have the same problems of maybe the sollution?  Thank you for your time.. Im sorry about my badly english language,  im from the netherlands..

@Speedy007 newest software updates to your phone depend on your region where you live & your network provider, network providers prefer to 'tinker' around a bit with the newest software version before sending the update out, tho if you really want to you can flash the latest update to your phone but personally i prefer to wait.....if however your friend is using the same network provider as yourself/same model of phone i would contact your network provider to ask why you have yet not received it. With regards to your toothbrush/bluetooth the newest software may help but if you can could you ask your friend to try pairing his with it......just hope he doesn't give you the brush off
