Hi -
Just got a Z1 compact and went to put my micro sd card from my old phone into the sony. Everything is fine except i cannot delete playlists from the My Playlists section of Walkman. The playlists have no content in them, i can't add content to them, and i can't delete them. How do i get rid of them????
Suspect they have to be on the SD somewhere but cannot find them by searching the name or the file type .m3u. Any idea how i find and delete these ghost playlists??
thanks in advance!

How is this good?
I pay $250 for a phone from Sony of all companies who cannot even include a way to clear the"Now Playing" list without clearing app data storage in Settings FFS?!
Or dear Sony customer you can delete eachand every of 300+_ songs individually! Enjoy mr customer!
Once I do as Gayfdalf say all data is rendered inaccessible from the music player on the phone. Again FFS.

I have the very same problem on the latest music app from Sony, I am just about to attempt the solution on this thread, may I ask, is it nessessary to force stop but do the rest as per the accepted solution?
Reason for asking is that I am always worried to force stop an app.
EDIT:
Ok, I looked in the Play Music app that came with the phone and I saw the three items in the playlist there, it had an option to delete and I don't see two of them now on the Music Sony app, but one still remains.
Edit:
Ok, went for it as per solution and it worked, thanks for this forum.
Strange though that the Play Music app managed to get rid of 2 of the items, I imagine that the Play Music app might have been the culprit for those two items but hey at least the solution worked and they are gone.
