Can't move apps to SD card on new version of system

Hi, a while ago I had to give my xperia z3 compact for warranty since it was leaking, I was given a brand new and it has the newest android marshmallow, it is cool but one thing really triggers me. I can't move any apps to SD card, I tried via Settings > Storage > Transfer datato SD card, and I can only send pics, videos and music which beacuse most of my data are apps. I also tried via this Settings > Apps > [App that I want to move to SD card] > Storage > Change but with this I can only move really few apps and it is really unintelligent thing compared to the previous in android 5.0, I could just move all the apps with 1 tap. Can anyone help me?

P.S. I can't even format my card as internal storage with the use of my phone, I can only format it as portable storage 😕

@Scrabby

That's not accurate, you were NOT able to move all the apps to the SD card, it was just a limited number, perhaps you didn't noticed, there's nothing to suggest here, it's an Android restriction not Sony's.

Hi @Scrabby,

Welcome to the community.

This feature is currently not present on Marshmallow due to Androids new 'Adoptable storage' that allows you to use your SD card as your main storage. After testing, we have decided not to use adoptable storage as the transfer speed is significantly slower than internal memory in most cases, and severely reduced the performance of our handsets.

The unfortunate side effect of this is that it is now currently not possible to store part of the app data on your SD card like you could in previous versions.

I apologise for the inconvenience this is causing you, however it is outside of our control.
