Can't answer calls

Some time incoming call isn't received, I have swipe the answer Portion, but still the phone is ringing and the swipe portion on the screen will hide,this Problem will continue till I restart the phone. 

What can I do for it, previously I had faced this problem after getting update to naugot it will solved for while, now this came back.

Hi @suriyaz5, sorry to hear about this.

When you are receiving a call and nothing happens when you swipe to answer, can you drag down the notification bar and tap on "Answer" or "Reject" here?

Just so we can make sure that a third party application isn't the cause of this behaviour, try restarting your phone in safe mode and ask a friend, colleague or family member to call your phone and see if you can answer by swiping to the right.

This is what exactly I am doing right now, but I need a solution for it, every time I am not supposed to restart the mobile. Due to this I have lost some important calls, I need to is any update to solve this problem.

Hi again and of course you shouldn't have to restart the device every time you are going to answer a call.

Was there any change when the phone was rebooted in safe mode if you have had the time to try that? 

if there is no change while the phone is rebooted in safe mode, try and perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the phone and reinstall the latest available software again.

It is advised to create a backup using Xperia Companion before starting with the repair.
