Hi there,
I just updated my Xperia Z3 Compact D5308 to Android 5.1.1. After that, the Camera remote control app was installed on my Moto 360, also running Android 5.1.1. There the app shows up as "com.sonymobile.cameracommon.wearablebridge". Not that much a pretty name, huh? Any ideas how to fix it?
Cheers David
Solved! Go to Solution.
This issue is fixed in the software version 23.4.A.1.232 but depending on country/region, you may not have received this update yet as availability may depend on local and operator approvals.
Have you contacted the app developer or the watch maker to see if there is a compatibility issue - This is the wrong place to post regarding cross app/oem issues
The app developer is Sony Mobile. So I hope, this forum is the place to ask questions about it.
Sony claims compatibility with its own Smart Watch 3. But since the app is automatically installed on every Android Wear watch which is paired with an Xperia phone, I assume Sony have tested the app for general compatibility with the platform.
I have the same problem.
I have a smartphone Xperia Z3 D6603 with Lolipop 5.1.1 and the Sony Smartwatch 3 with Lolipop 5.1.1.
In the Samrtwatch appear an app who say "com.sonymobile.cameracommon.wearablebridge" and the camera not open in the smartphone.
yes me too...
i have same problem, i'm using Z3 and sony smartwear 3
Same problem here with Z3 Compact (Lollipop 5.1.1 last Sony Update) and:
- Sony SmartWatch 3
- Motorola Moto 360
- LG Urbane (two different watches)
- LG Watch R

That's strange, that's the package name of the app. I will forward this internally for further investigation.
