I use the finger print and the 4 digit lock screen functions on my Z5c.
For some reason, although I have the 4 digit lock screen option set, I can swipe up and it will unlock.
When I go in to the Security menu and click on Screen Lock and enter my 4 digit code, the Pin option states the following:
"Because you've turned on an accessibility service, your device won't use your screen lock to enhamce data encryption"
I did have both the finger print option and the 4 digit lock screen option working together properly, but now it's not working properly.
The finger print option is working fine, any ideas what's wrong with the 4 digit lock screen option ?
Thanks
Bobby
Solved! Go to Solution.
Just go to Settings > Security > Smart Lock. Confirm your password, then disable the options or remove any trusted devices presented there.

I can't remember, does rebooting it in Safe Mode change or wipe any data or settings ?
Just tried that and the 4 digit lock code function works as it should, so does this mean it's one of the apps I have loaded ? and if so, how do I find out which app it is causing this, so I can uninstall it ?
Thanks
Sorry, scratch that last comment.
It worked the first time I used it, but I am sitting here now and I swipe up and it unlocks the phone without asking me for the pin code !!!
Whats going on !!!!!
That's correct, trial and error, there's no other way around, look for third party notification apps, home launchers, antivirus, etc.
