128 Gb Micro-SD?

Hi,

New to the forum. I currently have a 64 Gb micro-SD on my Xperia Z1, which I'd like to expand to 128 Gb, but I don't know if the phone will actually support it. The reason I'm asking is because when I bought and started to use the 64 Gb card, I was still running Jelly Bean and the phone only officially supported up to 32 Gb. Now that I'm on Lollipop (5.1.1), specs say up to 64 Gb....so I wonder...

Is there anyone out there who's ACTUALLY tried a 128 Gb card on the Xperia Z1 and can confirm whether it work or not?

Thanks a ton!

I'm using a 128GB microSD card in my Z1, it works fine.

The reason the specs say "up to 64GB" is because at the time of launch (of the Z1), there was no 128GB microSD card available.

The phone doesn't support anything above 64GB

@uliwooly  Do you know this for sure? (aka own experience?)

So, using the same logic, a 256GB microSD should work fine too...correct? I'm curious about that, anyone...?
