Apologies if i have been dense and done something stupid or missed the topic already created regardin this issue.
Had to reset my windows 10 laptop mid january, went to reinstall media go and saw that it had been replaced with sony music center.
Installed the program and reinstalled my music libary onto the machine. I am having no luck in getting the music center to recognise the phone that is attached.
I know the phone is connected to the PC as i can pull photos & music off directly and by using xperia companian but this is time consuming and using the media go app was always much faster.
Has anyone else had any issues when using this sony program & if so how did you get it to recognise the phone?
Thanks, in advance.
I have the same problem only with a XZ1...
had a corrupted user profile with W10 which meant having to reinstall W10 as factory fresh. Only loading in supported W10 software (other than a lightscribe driver no legacy windows versions software added)... and I liked media go....
I want to know what tracks are on my Xperia, and to simply add songs or albums from my pc library when I want them added...
I hate the way it looks like you have to find every track from folders with "XC"
Seriously Sony... the reason the Iphone was so successful was because anyone could just pick it up and make it work... This move seems to make it only attractive to people who care about the technical ways folders work behind the scenes... guess what... most people who buy a car don't care what is behind the panels....
I gave up & downloaded from SMG from a 3rd party site .. sorted!
