Xperia XZ1 - Earpiece LCD LIGHT BLEED

Hello, Good day.

I want to know if this is normal? I already let the Service Center check if this is normal. They said they have found NO FAULT IN THE DEVICE? THIS IS CLEARLY NOT NORMAL. IM NOT HAPPY WITH MY UNIT AT ALL. DISAPPOINTING! Sorry if I started like this. Its frustating. Thank you.

This is my 1st replacement and they disapprove my request for Replacement or Upgrade to higher models.

It's definitly a faulty piece. Never before had an Xperia which would light-up the speaker on screen ON... Not mentioning the Z2 where LED light was over the speaker and would slightly light up the back glass panel in darkness, but... Z2 was meant to bee like that. Mine XZ1 doesn't light up the speakers even screen set to 100%.
You should get a warranty repair or replace. Light glow might mean the device is not water-sealed as certificate promises.

May I ask what is the color of your XZ1?

This is obviously not normal. I never seen an Top Speaker/Earpiece lights up.

The Service Center showed another XZ1 of theirs that also lights up. I dont know if I will believe them or not. This is very disappointing in Sony's part. I dont want to buy another Sony again. Z1 and Z2 are meant to light in the Earpiece area because like you said it was built to do that. Other XZ1 doesen't have this. Sony here kept declining my Replacement request.
