Video lip sync out

My Sony XZ is frustrating me. When I record a video, after a couple of minutes the video freezes and the sound sync goes out by quite a lot.

I have run a software fix because I only noticed this after the last software update but it didn't fix the problem.

I read somewhere thattthis could be due to the compression rate of the SD card. Does anyone else have any experience of this and if sos which SD card should I buy? I use the videos for my work so this is quite importanti

Was never an issue in previous phones from Samsung or HTC.

Thanks

It's not just my recorded videos. YouTube, and several other apps are the same. Since these are streamed, it rules out the SD card.

I fixed it by setting the phone to internal memory which indicates that the issue is the SD card. The current issue I have is with the unit overheating when I use the camera. Software updates aren't available and the companion fails to back up my phone so I can can't run a software fix.
