I have a somewhat peculiar problem with my Xperia XZ Premium. When I listen to something through my plug-in headphones (Sony) and lose cell coverage (for example when going through a tunnel), the sound starts playing through the speakers instead. I tried turning off the data but it doesn't make any difference. It happens with all the apps I use (e.g Spotify, Netflix, Toutube, built-in music player) and even if the material is stored locally. It is as if the phone stops recognising the headphones when there is no cell coverage. To make them work again I have to unplug them and connect them again, sometimes I have to try several times. The problem does not occur when turning on "flight mode".
The problem does not occur with bluetooth headset (or when connecting to my car via bluetooth).
Has someone encountered any similar issues? Or can you suggest a solution?
