Hi,
I am observing significant issues with my XZP after updating to the latest software 47.1.A.12.205.
First of all, prior to this update this has been the best phone I have ever had, even better than the Nexus 6P! Anyway, since updating the software, the phone's performance and usability has significantly declined. Please find below the issues I have faced since updating:
⚠ Phone becomes completely unresponsive requiring a restart which may take many attempts just to bring up the restart option.
⚠ Noticeable reduced battery life.
⚠ Noticeable performance degradation including unresponsive screen presses, apps crashing or randomly closing etc.
⚠ Screen flickers/shakes uncontrollably for an extended period and cannot gain control via touch; just have to wait until the fit is over.
⚠ Phone unlocks and activates within pocket despite finger print or pattern required. Numerous times (at least once or twice a day) pull out of pocket and apps are open, settings changed etc.
⚠ Volume settings seems to change spontaneously (may be related to previous point).
⚠ Screen rotation clunky or locks from time to time irrespective of screen lock setting or phone orientation.
⚠ GPS fails requiring a device restart.
⚠ Bluetooth connectivity issues which has never been an issue before.
⚠ Swipe pattern when using swipe keyboard gestures appear offset from keyboard.
⚠ Screen brightness doesn't respond automatically to environment. Can't see screen due to poor illumination in bright environments or conversely, way too bright in dark environments. Basically need to continuously adjust brightness manually.
If these issues could be investigated it would be much appreciated as these issues are significantly reducing the usability and UX of this phone and causing a large amount of frustration.
