Scrolling intermittently lags after August update

Scrolling on web pages, app menu, app drawer etc. lags intermittently and very often.

It feels like some kind of kernel, CPU resource/scheduling problem.

I experienced this kind of scrolling lags before, after a long period of use without reboot, but then I rebooted the phone and it went away.

This time reboot doesn't fix the lag problem. The lag is always there.

Sony please look into your recent software update.

Do you experience the same lag in >>> safe mode ?

I didn't try safe mode because it can't pinpoint which app is causing the problem anyway.

Instead, I stopped using Microsoft Edge for Android on my XZ Premium and seeing if the situation gets better. Just my guess.

Even a long time ago my XZ Premium showed that kind of scrolling lag unlike the other phones I used... The difference is that the lag was just seldom and temporary, could be removed with a reboot... Now the lag is staying.
