Object in SIM card slot

I have an Xperia XZ2 bought a few days ago. So when I want to insert my SIM into the SIM slot after removing the SIM tray, I found an object in the SIM slot (Refer to the image below.) I'm afraid to touch it as I'm afraid I will damage the SIM slot more. Does anyone has the same issue? Should I remove it?

Hi @Danne94;

I think what you are talking about is the label with the phone IMEI number, that you can push out and in:

1. Drag out the nano SIM and Memory card tray.
2. Drag the strip outwards using your fingernail. The strip displays the IMEI number(s).
