Hi, on my new ZX2 compact, I am not only missing my FM radio app or the default Calendar app (not the google one, but the android one I had on my Z5 compact), but now I notice that I cannot create a EAS account because the UI does not give me the option, under 'add account'.
I do need this account as a lot of my contacts are there that i wish to see in my list.
thanks in advance if you can help me to add an EAS account

@tonii in that case go to Settings > System > Software update > Apps, find the app called Email and install it. now when you go to Settings > Users & accounts > Add account, you should see Exchange ActiveSync option.
as far as I know, Xperia Calendar is no longer being maintained or updated, so even if you find the apk file, you'll stumble on some bugs sooner or later. you're better off using either preloaded Google Calendar, or finding another calendar app in Play Store that's still being updated by the developer.
@toniiopen Sony email app, type in your email address, press Next, input your password and before you press Next again, press Manual setup in the bottom left corner of the screen. there's Exchange ActiveSync option there.
with regard to Xperia Calendar, the Z5 line were the last devices that came with it, and all devices newer than that use Google Calendar instead.
Thank you Najod for the quick response, I don't have the 'Sony email app' in my zx5c . where can i get it? also where can i get the Xperia Calendar ?
I think you have to install this App from the playstore since there is no Sony specific Mail App on the xz2:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gm.exchange
Give it a try and let ne know if it worked!
@tonii you don't have an app simply called Email? it comes preinstalled on the device.
and as I've said before, the calendar app that older models used to come with is not available anymore and has been replaced with Google Calendar.
Hi @najodleglejszy, sorry to say but is no app called 'email' on my Sony xz2 compact. but i need the EAS account only to combine my gmail and EAS calendars in one view. you have any tips?
mabye can you share the app download link for the xperia calendar app?
