Complete update but still showing update needed

Xperia system update is showing  I do the update and the phone restarts but then it shows it needs update still?

Hi @Poocarlin, welcome to our forum!

If you have skipped some updates or if it is a new devices, there will be updates lingering and these updates will need to be installed one by one.

To make sure that you are installing a new update each time, go to Settings > System > About phone and write down the build number that you can find at the bottom of this menu > apply the update and restart your device > go back and check if the number has changed or not.

Hi. Thanks for the reply but it's the same update each time. New device, just upgraded. Its update 47.1.A.12.235.

It seems to have sorted itself now. It did that update and then another one  Perhaps I was a bit impatient..... Thank you again for your reply

if it is still showing there is an update, try to update your phone using Xperia Companion and send the feedback to us
