Android Oreo Adaptive brightness bug

I've updated the new firmware a couple of days ago and noticed something wrong with the adaptive brightness.

It used to be slowly adjust the brightness but after this latest update, it's adjusting the brightness so fast and make me less comfortable to use it.

Sometimes it makes me feel sick. 😢

Does anyone have this problem too?

Same problem here too; though personally I keep mine on a fixed level which I adjust manually.

It used to be slowly adjust the brightness on Android 7.1.1. But after 47.1.A.3.254 and 47.1.A.5.51, it adjusting the brightness so fast and making less comfortable to use. Anyone also have this issue?

Facing same issue. Gets too low at times, in low light barely able to read.

When walking on streets at night, the brightness keeps chaging to adapt impacting viewing experience. Even after I increase the birghtness manually, same thing starts after 5 mins

Hey Guys,

Guess I found a solution to this. Under brightness settings you will find Colour gamut and Contrast.
Change it to Super-vivid mode

I made this change and could feel the results. Below is a screenshot of the setting.

Hope this helps.

If this solution worked for you, dont forget to give a Thumbs Up!
