Xperia Z5 or Xperia X?

Hello guys

Since sony stopped the new updates for Z2 and am thinking to upgrade to new sony device but am confused between Z5 and the X!

Both of them now are at the same price in my country,,,,any advice?

What is great with the x is the updates as i think it will receive android 8 also! And i think android 7 will be the last Z5 series...just thoughts, as sony always stops updates for 2 years old devices

well if the updates are one of your considerations, then you should take the latest phone.  2 years is already good enough especially considering that most network contracts are 2 years long,.

your z2 has been supported for 3 major android versions. from 4.4.2, 4.4.4, 5.0,5.1.1, up to 6.0 (2013-2015)

z5 has had only 2 major updates yet.,  5.0,.5.1.1,6.0,6.0.1, 7.0

I think Z5 will be android 7 only...hope they will add it to android 8 list but sony will focus x series the coming days i think

z5 got better cpu\gpu comperd to X

x only got better OS optimizition for now (z5 willl get that soon , like nuget etc..)

only X performance. is really better from  both performance aspect
