Any problems with batteries after a log period of not being powered up

Hi

I'm looking for a second M4 aqua, any colour except black for my wife. She is deaf and the hearing aid loop on the M4 works well and its loud. Being water proof ish helps as well.

There appears to be a few that are factory refurbed and a few New ones still lurking around

My question is, as these are no longer manufactured what is the shelf life of the battery before it gets charged and used.

I suspect the ones listed as new are service replacement stock that is being cleared, hence how long can they sit on shelves doing nothing before the battery starts to degrade ???.

Of course should someone  in the UK have one in good condition , please contact me off list richardATg8jvmDOTcom

Thanks

Richard

as long as there is a little bit of charged left. or it hasn't been completely drained. the batteries are still good (assuming they were still good in the first place)
