Xperia Z cant record voice messages

Hi i cant record voice in small app (green mic) facebook messanger and app like whatsapp any ideas what is wrong?

i can't clear data on my xperia m2 and microphone don't work nowhere

Actually, nothing that requires the mic works, i cant even call anyone, i already reseted to factory setting, i have done at least 4 reinstalls and full repair with pc companion and no solution at all...

One more thing, somehow it works touching the screen, even a gentle caress will make the mic partially work.

with the last factory restore the mic will completely turn off after few minutes of restarting the phone.

I've risk all my files and expecting that this will work, but it didn't.

I've done all the factory reset, and still my audio won't record...this is very frustrating considering it's my second phone in 3 months.

when I record a voice msg in fb messenger it freezes a moment and then the microphone doesn't work in all the application that uses voice recorder,i cannot record a video after that,when I reboot my phone it functions normally,and when I record a voice msg again in facebook messenger the same thing happens..what should I do?.i need help..my phone is updated to 4.4.2 kitkat!

Yes I have the exactly same problem with xperai. I'm using Xperia ZR and have updated to Android 4.4.2

Dear all,

I fixed this issue by uninstalling facebook messenger, the culprit.
