I bought my Xperia x10i a month ago and it has already started giving problem and now im p****d off.
At First, It stopped getting charge then i went to the SE service center and submitted my phone. It came back with a fix and told me that your motherboard has been replaced.
After 3 days, suddenly the 3 buttons below the screen stopped working. I tried updating the s/w through PC companion but it use to say that your phone is up to date. Then next day morning, i was browsing internet on phone and then i turned on the music, phone got bit slowish due to multitasking and then suddenly crash and after that i was never able to turn it on again. Don't know what happened,
Now my phone is again with SE service center. Don't know if again i will be getting it back with a temporary fix or what, but it's really painful as my phone is just a month and a half old and already its with sony for 15-20 days in total.
Anybody else faced something like that? i am not sure if they unit test the device before delivering or not and i don't want to keep visiting SE center again and again.
Please suggest me regarding this.
My experience with SE servies has been top class w.r.t. Playstation stuff.

I haven't had a problem like this, but a friend has. He told me it got overheating switched it off and he couldn't switch it back on. He has had to send it for repair.
I had the same problem with my X10i. i had it charging overnight as i usually do took it off charge in the morning at around 6:45am
went to tafe at around 11:00am i plugged it in to charge and the phone was charging which was as usual. one class finished i
unplugged my fone from the charger went straight to the next class plugged my phone in and nothing no charge nothing. i
suspected the usb cable because the cable resides in my bag so i tried a mates x10i charger which then didnt work either and
i have recently taken my phone back to the place i got it from so they can send it back to SE and i keep contacting to find out
when and where my phone is but all they can tell me is that it can take up to 21 business days to get back to me. which is
annoying me to no end as i miss my phone.
Hopefully it comes back working all well and good and thats the last problem i have with the phone.
btw how long did it take for you to get your phone back?
it took 8 days for charging problem...they told me that your Charging port is glued to the motherboard. so had to replace the whole motherboard.
and with your EMEI no. will change too, so make sure they write it down on your original bill that new EMEI no. is this.
but eventually i had to give my phone back to them in 3 days as other technical problem appears and finally they declared my phone as DEAD.
now lets see what happens in few days.
