My mini pro running on tmobile is also doing this, tmob are saying its nothing to do with them and getting hold of Facebook is impossible. I have got round it by clicking a notification that I already have in there which takes me to the web version of FB (in my case thru mini opera) and then clicking home on the FB page, that gives me them then.
