Why do my apps stop working?

I have had my phone for a few months now and it works great but every now and again one of my apps stop working for example: the facebook app tells me an error has occured whilst fetching data. or the com.sonyericsson app that I don't know what it does tells me the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly and tells me to force close. I~s there anything I can do to solve these minor errors. Thanks in advance.

does  third party application will work on sony xperia x10 , can we install  sipdroid and csipsimple for internet calls , what is the current version  of android for sony xperia?

I think u ve to Install again to last update, then u ll see its ok. But do not take out micro SDcard.

My phone tells me it has the latest update when I attemp the software update.

which version do u have the latest 2.2 or 2.1

It says I have Firmware version 1.6.

I know, but u must use to computer then again come to some ( Your phone already has the latest software) u ll choose FIX... its mean u install again some uptade.

I am getting the exact same problems - I have chceked I have most up to date software and I have! so ran repair and still not working. only had phone 2 months so pretty annoyed esp as I lose signal a lot when I didnt with previous SE phone. Can anyone help??? or is it a insurance/return to provider job??
