W880i updated with software update on SE website but now can't download google maps? Please resolve

I am very disappointed that I have just updated my Sony Ericsson W880i using the updater service on the Sony Ericsson support website and I now can't install Google Maps java application! This was not a problem BEFORE the update - I had google maps and was able to use it fine.

Now I have installed the rubbish update from Sony Ericsson, I can't install Google Maps as I'm told it now doesn't work on W880i notwithstanding the fact that before the update I installed it did work and was able to be installed.

Has anyone resolved this problem?

Sony Ericsson should hang their heads in shame...they have a horrible software product and I can't even use it adequately now for internet needs.

How can I install google maps?

Please let me know if there is any way I can get google maps on my W880i  - any link at all.

No thanks to Sony Ericsson. I hope the company goes bust.

On a PC go to: http://www.google.co.uk/mobile/maps/

Or

On your the Web Browser on your handset enter m.google.co.uk/maps
