Vivaz Pro Cannot Touch Screen

URGENT  Suddenly I cannot select anything by touching the screen on my Vivaz Pro. So I cannot make calls or send texts. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve it please ?  I have tried removing battery and putting it back.

Thanks, I have done that but it does not help. 

It looks like I will have to get a new phone and it certainly won't be one made by Sony Ericsson.

You can also try a phone repair with PC companion as a last resort.

I am not sure what you mean by Phone Repair. That is not an option on my PC Companion software.  I did do a reset to Factory Defaults and that did not help, and it lost all my settings of course.

A phone repair ends with a software re-installation, but if you don't see that option with PC companion (the phone needs to be switched off for the repair, as with the update procedure), you can opt to re-install the software once again with the SE update service.
