August, hope can see the news for SonyEricsson SATIO update.

but I things:

45% : No any update for SATIO.

25% : Bugs fix for SATIO.

15% : Many bugs fix for SATIO with RESPONSE SPEED IMPROVEMENT plus some new feature.

10% : Upgrade SATIO from Symbian ^1 to ^3 (But this one need contract with NOKIA ... ....)

05% : Change SATIO from Symbian ^1 to Android (Open Source but important is need rewrite, more hard, also SonyEricsson not yet settle X10 update, any maybe contract problem.)

Anyway, everyone is waiting the best solution from SonyEricsson.

SO REMEMBER ALL, DUN WRITE ANY ANGRY, DUN WRITE ANY OVERDOSE CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS, DUN WRITE ANY COMPLAINS.

I regret having paid so much money for this poor service. The people responsible at SE should be ashamed of themselves. Being treated like this really does it for me. I will make sure that people around me will learn of my great SE experience.

I tried to sell my half year old Satio on ebay, but when I looked at other auctions I saw that noone is willing to bid higher than roughly 200 Euro for a near new device. There you go SE, potential customers aren't shying away from your devices because others are way better, but because by now many now that they are going to be let down after all those high flying promises.

No fecking chance of an update for the Satio,  and if SE say there will be, you might pigs flying over Lund 🙂

If anyone here is using SPB mobile shell, at least they update their software ! and they now have build 347 coming, that  conatains actual bug fixes, and the one I was waiting for is now

You can see the actual battery% on your homescreen. Its a great app. Should be installed on all SE symbian phones, instead of their crappy homescreens

This company is laughing in our backs since they got the money from us.

It's unbleaving behaviour which never saw it before on SE, they launch a product which wasn't completed and they still not fixing majority of problems that this phone have and already near one year since the launch of the phone in the UK.

I got the phone since the first week of its launch and I had so much problems with it and I had to repair the software a few times.

There is no information about their next update releases which this is unseen on other companies, they are just worried with Android phones because on Satio they didn't made any profit at all only Vivaz and Android series.

I would like to spread their behaviour further to the Media news around the planet and see if they would like to see their name coming badly reported on these media magazines as they are doing to us and not doing nothing at all.

Why they didn't bought UIQ3 and develop it further which could compete with anyone, those phones with UIQ3 had so much good reputation comparing with the Satio or Vivaz phones and didn't gave the headache that they are giving now.

Not even on Developers network there is any sign of new firmwares coming for Satio I don't know what to say anymore.

Does anyone knows if there is any forge of Symbian 3 for Satio phones? As a computer geek and student I would like to try it instead of waiting for a lazy SE.

Well I can only wait at the moment...

About the cooked firmware you mentioned, there are none available for Satio and other SE Symbian phone since they can not be flashed! SE has prevented that kind of improvement too. And the phone is unhackable! Samsung for example has low service for i8910, but it has dozens of cooked firmwares and it's hackable.

but its possible to downgrade, hack and update 🙂 hack is still working after update.

That's not a good news, but I will have to search around on geeks that have more experience in installing firmwares in any phone.

It will be good put a new firmware without waiting for SE.

Let us see what can be done in the future.

Here it is:

It have been tested on firmware version 1218-9500_R1BB041, HelloOX2  confirmed 100% working, RomPatcher+ also confirmed 100% working!
Sony Ericsson Satio U1 have been added to our supported phone model list.

See there is way to hack and make your phone Satio more wanted.

Satio is my fourth SE phone, the other three (k700i, k750i,k850i) was good phones. k850i's camera was very good. I purchased this FLAG SHIP ':smileyangry:':smileyangry:':smileyangry:' because of the 12.1megapixel. But SE can't place even a good camera driver on it. If I take an indoor picture the people's eye becoming red. when I try to fix this with phone software, red becoming white. I think, as a satio user who spent  huge amount to purchase this FLAG SHIP '''' I deserve an update to fix these problems. otherwise this will be my last SE phone and I will call them cheater.
