3 days ago, suddenly I realized that I could't have access to the contact list of my T700. I switched the phone off and since then, it is getting frozen once I switch it on at the Sony Ericsson logo. I can only switch it off again by takin the battery out. so the phone is dead. any chance to repair it?
Connect it up to your PC and see if it is recognised either as a mass storage device or through PC suite.
Thank you for the hint!! It recongnize it as a mass storage. what can I do next?

Hi,
I do face the same problem few days back with the phone T700. I tried to update the service but i got the message update failed. now if I try to switched on the phone it is not appearing anything on the screen and I can switched it off by removing the battery. I went to the service center he said the screen is not working i said ok replace it.now he saying the motherboard of the phone is damaged. Is it so? I was surprise that how could it be possible, by updating service the motherboard is affected.
Is any one facing the same problem..how can I resolve it?
Thanks.
Download a program called SE PC Companion and choose the repair option. Whch should hopefully fix the phone.
Hi,
There is no SE PC Companion is available for the model T700.
Is there any other way to do?
Thanks
Hi,
If we do the update software on mass storage/USB mode, what kind of problem we face. Is it going to damage the motherboard of the phone?
Please share.
Thanks
To answer both your messages, I have further up in this thread provided a link for T700 software downloads, which includes PC suite and SEUS.For the SEUS, follow the instructions and see if your phone is recognised by the service. If your phone is completely unusable, take it back to the service centre.I can't imagine that SEUS has damaged your phone.
