Spiro Walkman - plays albums alphabetically by song title, how do i get it to plays albums in correct order?

Just bought a Sony Ericsson Spiro and the Walkman only plays albums in song title alphabetical order and not in the correct order (ie track 1 "zebra" would play after track 2 "aardvark"). Can this play albums in correct order?

Also, does the player display cover art?

You will probably find that in the File Manager, the tracks are listed in the correct album order, so one solution is to listen to your music from the File Manager itself. Alternatively, you could create playlists on the Walkman by choosing the album tracks in the correct order.I don't know whether your phone has an "update media" option in the settings of your media menu, but if it does, it's worth clicking on it and see whether that would return the tracks to their correct order on the Walkman. As for album art, check on the Walkman settings (Walkman-options-settings-visualisations) to see what's available under visualisations.

As best as I can tell, playing via File Manager does put the songs in the correct album order BUT you it won't play the next track automatically after a track has finished. All update media achieves is finding recently added media. Another solution I'd looked into was installing the KD player app. Alas, it installs and runs OK but would only find one MP3.

The funny thing about this whole track order issue is that File Manager can get it right but the Media Player lacks that feature... how backwards is that??? I usually would have albums on shuffle but for some reason the shuffle function on the Spiro repeats tracks A LOT.

I think the Playlist idea previously mention would probably work. Failing that... renaming all your albums with the track number at the start of the filename might work.

You wouldn't expect anything with Walkman branded on it to have these silly, thoughtless issues would you???

The KD Player works well with playlists that you allow it to read.
