Hi,
I have problems with using the Sony Ericsson Sync service, the tool in Organiser. Every time I press the icon, it redirects me to the website, where I have to fill in my username and password, but when I do that, it says - connection error.
P.S. - In the username field I am writing my email adress, because I do not have any. Am I doing something wrong?
Any help will be appreciated!
We recently completed maintenance on our login services. You should check again today to confirm you can login.
I tried again a few minutes ago, but it does not work, the message is - "connection error".
Just in case, I wrote the wrong password on purpose and it said the login failed because of the incorrect credentials - that means the username and password written on the first occasion is correct.
I suggest that you check if a proxy might be disturbing your connection.
Menu> Settings> Connectivity> Destinations> Internet> Options> Edit> Options> Advanced Settings> Proxy server address> Delete any address.
I have posted as question the same problem....I have been folowing this post also.... I have tryed your suggestions and there are no proxy addresses...I am still stuck in the same "Connection error"
This option does not work, the same message appears.
Do you know if this happens both when connected via Wi-Fi as 3G?
If not, check if it makes any difference while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
The problem occurs on both occasions.
Then I would suggest that you try to reset the phone.
Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone management > Default settings.
After reset go to: Menu > Organizer > Sony Ericsson Sync and try again.
Sounds good, but resetting will delete lots of important data, which I will not be able to back up(App Data for example). If there is any way to save them, I will be glad to hear.
And is not there any other solution? Or is anybody able to sign in to SE Sync Service? Is it sure it is not a problem of SE itself?
