so i sold my xpera to my friend in another city, and i didnt realize i had to pay and have it unlocked. so i went to my service provider and they gave me a code, but the phone i had didnt match the phone on my account so they ended up giving me a code for another phone on my account. turns out i once had my phone sent away for repair, and i guess they sent me a new phone with a different imei number then the one on my account. so we used the code and since it didnt work, the amount of times you are allowed to try ran out. (i was only given 5 tries and not 10)
so now my phone is locked no matter what is done.
does anyone know what can be done. or suggest anything on what to do to fix this problem
also. i chatted with sony xperia support and they gave me a link to a program to run that does software repair. but that didnt help at all. i explained to the guy many times that that wasnt the problem but he didnt understand me,
I doubt that your Local support suggested to use Xperia Companion since the Xperia T it's no longer supported, you have to contact them again, Local support and see if they can reset the counter, keep in mind that Sony doesn't provide this unlock codes.
