Problem connecting to home wifi. Help!

I keep getting 'Out of range' from my aino while trying to connect to my home wifi (2wire 2701HGV-E). Need help on how to solve this! Also my phone is not detected during the update service via usb-to-computer. It is stuck at the 'connect' page and doesn't move onto 'confirm'. help on this too please!

yes i have ran the update service via mobile but it's already the latest version. i've reinstalled the Update Service app on my com but it still doesn't work. I held the 'c' button till my phone goes into 'mass storage' mode by itself. For my router i've check the settings and the only thing i can do is to add my phone's MAC address but doesn't seem like any other settings will help.

When you try to use the Update service via PC, you are connecting the phone after taking the battery out, replacing it and then waiting for the application to find your phone while it's switched off, are you not? Following this, you should then get the message on the PC to let go of the C button, once it has detected your phone. Is this the way you have being doing this and/or what exactly happens?

Yes i have been following the instruction doing exactly what the instruction is telling me to do. No detection still.

One thing you can try is downloading the application onto another PC and then see if it can detect your phone.
