Hello im new here and i just wanted to ask you if you know anything about this. ok i bought my new sony ericsson xperia x10 mini last week and updated it and here comes the question. when i go to photo album and "i have no photos yet" and on that logo to the left the logo means "make pictures". and on that logo i have 2 black lines on that logo and im very worried is it normal? or do i hafto return it back? thank you for your time reading this and i apologize for my horrible english sorry:smileylaugh:.
A simple way is to compare with another X10 mini pro. 
its x10mini not pro
and i did visit to the store where i bought it and looked on their x10mini but they didnt uppgrade to 2.1 software update :smileysad:. i didnt have this black lines when i had the old software and i have re-install the new uppdate same thing black lines is still there jeez dont know what to do.
"UPDATE" i have ben on the store where i bought my phone and they could not give me brand new one from store "BOO Thumbs down Sony" because the service guy said that sony have an return policy warranty just for 7 days and my phone was 10 days old. sony i hafto say this has ben the most pathetic phone ive ever own'd. just 10 days old and it breaks. get your Sh*t together seriously. this phone costed me alot of money im not happy customer now. now i have learnd a lesson my next phone will not be sony ericsson. oh btw i bought this phone because my old sony ericsson broke too lol :smileysilly:. and i bought this xperia x10 phone because i thought this phone would be better stronger phone but i guess not.:smileyangry::smileyangry: ***My English S*cks** Peace God Bless. ////Xzizar
If you search on the main Sony Ericsson Website for Warranty you should be able to see how long your Sony Ericsson Warranty lasts for in your part of the world, certainly more than 7 days. I am in the UK and as far as I am aware the warranty lasts for 2 years as long as you reside in the country of purchase and have the original receipt (and obviously the phone hasn't been damaged by careless use)
If you let me know what country you are in I will try and find the local Service number for your region for you.
Suze, what user meant is 'return policy'. 
In my opinion, as a consumer.... the shop saying returns policy is them saying I don't want to deal with your problem. But that could be me be synical! Which is why he may be better going direct to SE service centre.
Yup, after 7 days, it will become SE's problem. The shop can simply 'wash their hands', it's the norm.
Consumer law must be different around the world, here the retailer has a duty to provide an item to be of merchantable quality (ie working properly) and that if it isn't then they have a duty to deal with that. I can understand a 7 day exchange on phones so that you can see if you like it, but if something is not working properly that is a whole different issue.
So i havnt got any answers of my question
is it normal 2 black lines on this "Make pictures" "Logo" when u dont have any pictures?. Thank You ////Xzizar.
