Nougat: issues with WiFi

I have got a couple of bizarre issues with the WiFi:

1. Sometimes in the Quick Setting panel it shows as connect to the Asteroid AP, then clicking in the WiFi icon it shows as connected to the Comet AP (which the latter is correct since I don't have the automatic access for Asteroid). Asteroid and Comet are the 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSID from the same router.

2. Other times, while connecting, it says "No Internet Connectivity" (or what it is in English), while my ADSL is for sure up and running. It also happened with the router of my brother in law.

It goes without saying that the WiFi connection isn't always working as it should. Meaning that it gets slow downs (even at a couple of meters from the router) or no connectivity to Internet at all. Turning it off and on again fixes this.

I'll try resetting the network setting (again! Although it will be the first time in Nougat) but issues like #1 seem a bug to me.

PS: After resetting the network settings I tried to connect (to Comet). I gave the right credentials, it authenticated but then it didn't connect (the last message was that it was getting the IP address). Turning the WiFi off and on it finally connected. This is quite disappointing, actually. Because in Marshmallow it wasn't much better.

Yeah, I have the same issues. Sometime I have to turn off/on the WiFi because it gets stuck. The other issues I had seem to have disappeared after the network resetting, though.
