Nokia GPS better??

HI All..

Being new to android and X10 mini pro, I got lots of questions...lol

One day me and my friend (having Nokia 5800) were using GPS and he was able to see much more satellites than me (almost double).

Is the GPS system of Nokia better than that of Sony?

GPS receivers vary in their speed of sattelite detection depending on how many channels they use.As far as I know, the internal GPS receivers in SE mobiles use 4 channels, so perhaps Nokia receivers use more.But was the GPS positioning any different between the two phones?

We were standing on same place and our mobiles were not blocked by anything.

I meant how accurately did the phones find your position? Was there any difference in the " your position within X? metres" between the two phones? And were you using Assisted-GPS on both or one of the phones?
