Need MMS settings for c905 unlocked

Hello good ppl! I bought an unlocked c905. Love the phone (mostly)! But... I am AT&T customer, so needless to say I am stranded down by their cannibalistic treatment of their own customers. Both their web site and SE (what a shame) tell me to go to Setup Wizard. Well, it's unlocked and there ain't no "preset" settings for me. I transfered EVERYTHING from my k850i settings, but no luck. It even connects to the Internet with those settings, but can't download and send picture messages. Anybody familiar with this problem? I know this is happening only because the phone is unlocked, but I do like that FREE Wi-Fi option! Is there any way to keep Wi-Fi and be able to send/receive MMS? Thank you!!

You need a specific MMS setting to send and receive media messages. The Wi-Fi option is free and doesn't use the mobile network, although it's good to have internet settings when Wi-Fi is not available. It makes no difference that your phone is unlocked because the set-up Wizard will know which Internet and MMS settings to download to your phone because of  AT&T's SIM card.

Hi! Thanks for your reply! That seems to be the problem: when I go to Settings-General-Setup Wizard-Settings Download it says "No settings available. Please contact your operator." I've tried AT&T web-site, but it gives me same exact procedure. Before this phone I had k850i (I use it as a camera/mp3 player in Flight Mode now). I remember that couple of years ago I went on SE web-site and they simply TEXTED me the setting for the Internet and MMS. Was so simple and easy. Whatever happened to that, I wonder?

And I still have no MMS feature.

Unfortunately, SE's set-up wizard service has been shut down, or at least doesn't work for most people who have tried it recently. In your case, it appears that AT&T's settings are something of a mystery to your phone's set-up wizard, so I would suggest you first of all ring AT&T and ask them to send you the settings and failing that, ring SE to get the settings, because surely they must exist!
