Message rones

When I use a song as my message tone the entire song plays instead if stopping when I open the message. Does anyone now how to shorten the message tone?

Hi Rianan, search Market for Ringdroid. You can create your own ringtone, alarm, notification sound from existing audio file, or record a new one directly on the device.

There are various apps available on the Android Market. You could try Tone Picker, which is free and meant to be good.
